In case you haven’t heard or seen it, Google has a new logo! After seeing the change here at CM, we thought it would be interesting to get a designer’s perspective on the new logo. Here is what our awesome team has to say about the new logo.

I am glad Google has a new logo!  When they announced Alphabet, I was expecting to see the new Google logo to look very similar to the letter blocks on Alphabet’s site, abc.xyz

The simplicity of their new logo reflects the design trends now: flat, sans serif, simple and no fluff. Their old logo seemed to look a bit rigid, and their new one looks adaptive yet timeless, fun, and simple. It is still recognizable since they kept the colors but more vibrant and full of life, which I think describes Google.
